Making a difference one Ta-Ta Tote at a time! Our Ta-Ta Totes provide support, comfort, hope, and strength. Most of the items inside are home-made by family and friends who supported me in my journey and are items I found helpful.
How it works...
I believe giving things that are home-made with love will bring a smile to you during this challenging time. You are not alone! Inside the Ta-Ta Tote you will find a journal to take notes and refer back to (they give you a lot of information and it sometimes blurs together), fun breast cancer ribbon socks ( I wore a different pair of silly socks for each infusion), a water bottle (hydration is vital during treatment), a bag of mints and ginger chews (treatment does weird things to your taste, not to mention the nausea), a pocket hug (made by my friend Sheri to bring a smile and to give you something to hold in your pocket when you are anxious), a port pillow (comfort from the seat belt rubbing on your port-made by my mom and her friend Bev), cards (created by my mom-we enjoyed thanking our caregivers and doctors), a cozy blanket (made by my mom to give you comfort and warmth), and an inspirational quote box (created by me to share my favorite quotes and mantras during my journey). Stay positive. I value your fight and have been there. You got this!
